Rvvup Payment Links are an easy way to create a custom payment link to send directly to your customer via email, chat, WhatsApp, QR code, or SMS text.

From your Rvvup Dashboard, you can create a link and send to your customer for them to click on and complete a payment via Pay by Bank, Pay by Card, or Apple Pay. It’s the simplest way to create and settle customer invoices.

ℹ️ How to Create a Payment Link

1. Log in to the Rvvup Dashboard

2. Select Payment links from the menu on the left-side

3. Click on + Create in the upper right corner

4. Enter in the Amount you’d like your customer to pay (if you’d like to let your customer enter the amount, check out the How to Customise Payment Links article).

5. Enter in a Reference. The reference field is visible to you in the Rvvup Dashboard and to your customer in their email confirmation.

6. Activate the toggle to allow your payment link to receive multiple payments. If the toggle is left off, the payment link will expire after one payment.

   ☝️Single use Payment Links are great for unique one-time purchases.

   🖐️ Multiple use Payment Links are perfect for customers who make regular payments or for use in promotional campaigns with multiple customers.

7. Click Create if you’d like to complete the Payment Link creation and send the link manually to your customer.

8. Optional: Check the box for Send link through SMS or Email channel if you’d like to enter your customer’s email or phone number and have Rvvup automatically send your Payment Link for you!

ℹ️ How to Share a Payment Link

1. After creating a Payment link, select it from the list in the Payment links section

2. From the Payment link pop out window, you’ll be presented with multiple ways to share your Payment link with your customer to request payment:

   🔲 Copy link: Clicking this option will copy a link and allow you to paste it wherever you’re having a conversation with our customer (email, WhatsApp, text, etc.)

   📷 Download QR code: Click this option to download a png file of the QR code for this Payment link. This file can be printed out and placed in a physical location for your customers to scan & pay with their mobile devices.

   📧 Send link through a channel: Click this option to enter in your customer’s email or phone number for Rvvup to send them the Payment link via email or SMS text.

3. When your customer receives the link or scans the QR code, they’ll be able to click or scan to complete the payment via Pay by Bank, Pay by Card, or Apple Pay.

ℹ️ How to view payment & notification statuses of a Payment Link

1. Log in to the Rvvup Dashboard
2. Select Payment links from the menu on the left-side
3. Click on a Payment link to open the pop up window to see:

Latest payment attempts: If your customer has attempted a payment, you’ll see a link to the Payment session along with a status. Click the Payment session ID to view the details of the payment (If you don’t see this section, it means no payments have been attempted yet).

Latest sent notifications: If you’ve asked Rvvup to send your customer an email or SMS text, you’ll see the latest notification delivery status. Click on the Notifications tab for more details.

ℹ️ How to deactivate a Payment Link

1. Log in to the Rvvup Dashboard
2. Select Payment links from the menu on the left-side
3. Click on the Payment link to access the Deactivate button.
4. This will permanently deactivate the link. If a customer has the link and clicks on it, it will take them to a page saying “Sorry, the page you are looking for does not exist!”

🧾 Payment Link Refunds

Refunds for payments taken through Payment Links can issued right from your Rvvup Dashboard.
