Google Pay has arrived at Rvvup. Below you’ll find the step-by-step instructions to add Google Pay for your customers to use when checking out on their Android mobile device or computer using Chrome.

⚠️ Before beginning the setting up process for Google Pay, please reach
out support@rvvup.com and request this new feature be activated for your account.
ℹ️ How to start accepting Google Pay
Setting up Google Pay requires registering with Google to receive a Google Merchant ID. During the registration process, you’ll be asked to enable Google Pay in Rvvup Test Mode on your staging site & supply Google with screenshots of the test Google Pay button in action.
Instructions for signing up for a Google Merchant ID
- Head over to the Google Pay Business Console
- Fill out the form with your business name to begin the registration process
- Next, click on Business Profile and completed the requested fields (The LEI field is optional and can be left blank).
- After you’ve completed your Business Profile, click into the Google Pay API section and click the Get Started button. Find the “Integrate your website” section and click the “+ Add website” link.
- Fill out the Web integration form with the following details:
- Website URL: checkout.rvvup.com
- Your Google Pay API integration type: Gateway

Upload Screenshots (use the Test Mode in Rvvup to enable Google Pay in Sandbox mode on your staging site and use that for the screenshots):
- Item Selection: One of your product pages
- Pre-purchase screen: Your checkout page
- Payment method screen: Screen with Google Pay popup after pressing "Place order"
- Google Pay API payment screen: Screen with Google Pay popup after pressing "Place order"
- Post purchase screen: Order confirmation screen after order is placed.
- Click Save and then click Submit for approval
- The final step is to copy the Google Merchant ID in the upper right hand corner and send that to us at support@rvvup.com.
Once we’ve received your Google Merchant ID and Google confirms your integration submission, Google Pay will be enabled on your live Rvvup account.

How do I refund or void an Google Pay payment?
Google Pay payments can be refunded or voided similar to other Rvvup payment methods. For instructions on how to refund, check out the Issuing a refund article. For voids, see the Issuing a void article.
Is there an additional fee to offer Google Pay?
Nope! Fees on Google Pay payments are the same as if your customer used their credit or debit card directly on your checkout.
Do you run 3DS on Google Pay payments?
Yes. Customers using Google Pay will receive the same 3DS bank challenges as they would if using their credit or debit card directly in your check out.
How do I receive disbursements for Google Pay payments?
Google Pay payments are processed together with Pay by Card, so you'll see your Google Pay payments, refunds, & fees batched up in your daily Pay by Card disbursements to your bank account.
Can I test Google Pay in Rvvup Test mode?
In order to create Google Pay payments in Test Mode, you’ll need to:
- Join the Google Pay Test Group
Once your Google account has joined the Google Pay Test Group, you should see test cards added to your Google Pay wallet to use in Test Mode.
What card types are accepted via Google Pay?
With Google Pay via Rvvup, you can accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards that your customers have stored in their Google Wallet.
