🧰 If I’m experiencing an issue, how do you recommend I begin to troubleshoot?
1. Run Updates: Making sure you’re on the latest version of the Rvvup for WooCommerce plugin is a great first move, as we are constantly updating & improving our plugin.
2. View Error Logs: WooCommerce's error logs can reveal helpful information related to fatal errors. Check out their help guide on accessing the logs.
3. Audit other plugins: Deactivating (temporarily) other plugins in WooCommerce can sometimes help uncover (or narrow down) if certain plugins are not playing nicely with each other.
4. Check the Wordpress/WooCommerce Status site: Though rare, it’s worth double-checking the Wordpress Status website to see if they are any system-wide errors reported that could be affecting your online store.
📴 How do I disable the default PayPal plugin so I can activate PayPal via Rvvup?
- Log in to your WooCommerce Admin Dashboard and navigate to WooCommerce, then Settings, on the left hand panel.
- Click Payments along the top tabs.
- Click Manage to the right of the PayPal option in the list of payment methods.
- Under the Standard Payments tab, untick the “Enable PayPal features for your store” box and then click Save at the bottom of the page.
🇬🇧 How do I hide Rvvup to customers checking out in countries outside of the UK?
By default, Rvvup shows up as "Rvvup (Unavailable)" on the checkout page of WooCommerce when a customer selects a country other than the UK. If you'd prefer to hide Rvvup to non-UK customers, you can configure this by following these steps:
- Log in to your WooCommerce Admin Dashboard and navigate to WooCommerce, then Settings, on the left hand panel.
- Click Payments along the top tabs.
- Under the Rvvup section, set the "Show if Unavailable" option to "No."
- Click Save to update your checkout.
🪧 The marketing text for Clearpay or PayPal Credit is missing from my Product pages. Do you know how to fix it?
It's possible you are using an optimization plugin that minifies JS files. We'd recommend investigating if you can reconfigure the plugin to exclude Rvvup to see if that solves the issue.
