🎉 New Feature
Invoices on-demand
Rvvup Pay Links are an easy way to create a custom payment link to send directly to your customer via email, chat, WhatsApp, or text.
From your Rvvup Dashboard, you can create a link and send to your customer for them to click on and complete a payment via Pay by Bank or Pay by Card. It’s the simplest way to create and settle customer invoices.
ℹ️ How to Create a Payment Link
- Log in to the Rvvup Dashboard
- Select Payment links from the menu on the left-side
- Click on + Create in the upper right corner
- Enter in the Amount and Reference. The reference field is visible to you in the Rvvup Dashboard and to your customer in their email confirmation.
- Click Create and you’ll see a new Payment link show up in your list
ℹ️ How to Share a Payment Link
- After creating a Payment link, select it from the list in the Payment links section
- From the Payment link pop out window, you can click either Copy link and paste the link or you can click Download QR code. Either the link or QR code image can be shared wherever you are communicating with your customer (email, text, WhatsApp, live chat, etc).
- When your customer receives the link or QR code, they’ll be able to click or scan to complete the payment via Pay by Bank or Pay by Card.
ℹ️ How to view the payment status of a Payment Link
- Log in to the Rvvup Dashboard
- Select Orders from the menu on the left-side
- Payments via Payment links will show up as Pay by Bank or Pay by Card transactions. When you click on the Order, you’ll see a section labeled “Mode” which will label the Order as “Payment link.” You’ll also see the Payment link reference listed on the corresponding Order in the “external ID” field.
- The Order status will confirm if the payment from the Payment link was successfully completed. (For more information on statuses, check out Understanding Order & Payment Statuses)
- On this Order detail page, you'll also see a Refund button in the event you need to send the funds back to your customer.
ℹ️ How to deactivate a Payment Link
- Log in to the Rvvup Dashboard
- Select Payment links from the menu on the left-side
- Click on the Payment link to access the Deactivate button.
- This will permanently deactivate the link. If a customer has the link and clicks on it, it will take them to a page saying “Sorry, the page you are looking for does not exist!”
